About us
A workshop, a crew, and no shortcuts
Sunbrace Awnings started in 2009 as a two-man fabrication outfit in Sin Ming. We still fabricate in the same lane — just with a bigger workshop.
We got tired of re-doing other people's awnings
Half our early jobs were repairs: sagging frames, yellowed polycarbonate, motors that gave up after one monsoon. Nearly all of it came down to the same thing — the wrong material specified to hit a lower price.
So we built the business the other way round. We measure on site ourselves, we spec materials that survive equatorial sun and horizontal rain, and we fabricate to the millimetre in our own workshop instead of buying imported flat-packs and hoping they fit.
Our installers are employees, not day labour. They know how to read a balcony parapet, a HDB wall, a heritage shophouse façade — and when to tell you a fixing isn't safe.
Every job leaves with a warranty document: up to 5 years on structure, 2 years on motors and fabric, and a servicing line that stays answered.
