Relentless sun, sideways rain, 80% humidity. We spec UV-stable polycarbonate, marine-grade fasteners and powder-coated aluminium that won't chalk, rust or sag.
Quality installation
Structural fixings checked against your wall type, proper falls and guttering, silicone sealed and cleaned up. Most jobs finish in a single day.
Warranty & servicing
Up to 5 years on structure, 2 years on motors and fabric, and a servicing team that still picks up the phone three years later.
Materials & durability
Why the spec matters more than the price
Polycarbonate grades
3mm solid UV-coated sheet for car porches; 6–10mm twin-wall where heat reduction matters. Cheap unbranded sheet yellows in two monsoon seasons — ours carries a 10-year non-yellowing warranty.
Aluminium framing
6063-T5 extrusion, powder-coated to AAMA standards. It will not rust like mild steel, and it stays light enough to fix safely to balcony parapets.
Weatherproof fabrics
Solution-dyed acrylic and PVC-coated canvas: mould-resistant, colourfast under equatorial sun, and rated for the wind loads a 4m projection actually sees.
Motorised options
Quiet tubular motors with remote, wind sensors and rain sensors that retract the awning while you're at work.
